I have trained with some fantastic educators over the years. In the past I have usually shown off my nail education and insurance certificates on this page, however I now only carry copies of these in my nail case for browsing on our first booking.
I have trained in both Acrylic and Gel nail enhancement systems, Manicure, Pedicure, One Stroke Nail Art, EDGE Nails, Henna Application, and Spray Tanning. I have completed a short Cyber Security course. I have completed a counselling course specifically as the nail table can often be a safe space for deep discussion. I have also completed a training course on spotting the signs of domestic abuse and how to respond, and have trained with Conflict Solutions LTD.
In alternate training worlds, I am a qualified Social Scientist, and have qualifications in both Design and Interior Design as separate subjects. I have taken part in an Art Therapy day course with BAAT. I am qualified in an energy healing modality as well as having received some Munay-Ki rites including Bands of Power.. all of which play a part in my own personal practice.
I have recently brushed up on my professional Nail Technician skills by completing a Rebecca Orme Nail Products and Education online course. I am often asked about how I became a Nail Technician, and well.. it was completely by the laws of chance and my own decision making thereafter.
